Diana Russo is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor, New Jersey Certified Student Assistance Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. Her expertise ranges across several areas including child/adolescent mental health, struggles with identity, family or relationship issues, and anxiety related disorders. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Rider University. She completed her internship with school-based Student Assistance Coordinators, where she facilitated counseling groups, including substance use groups for at-risk youth. Diana has also worked in public schools, engaging with adolescents as well  as their families. She is particularly adept in helping families navigate school systems to best meet the needs of their student. Diana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Women and Gender Studies, which reflects her  passion for supporting individuals exploring intersections of their identity and women.

I employ a client-centered approach, where we collaborate on strategies and solutions that work with their goals, lifestyle, or needs. I aim to empower my clients, while maintaining an empathetic and genuine rapport. I believe in using active listening to help clients feel seen and heard. I have experience working with a diversity of individuals, with varying levels of needs, and I remain passionate about helping clients work towards their goals and improve their daily lives.
