Teen Mindfulness Groups
If you have ever struggled with:
Low self-esteem/confidence
Worry/Stress
Sadness/Depression
Body concerns
Overwhelming negative thoughts
Obsessions/compulsions
Trauma
Attention Issues
Academic concerns
Social anxiety
Then this group is for YOU!
Our child or teen mindfulness groups are for anyone who could benefit from focused time on self development during those long summer weeks. We know that summer time can be overwhelming for some teens. Long days with little to focus on and limited contact with your friends, teachers, or school counselors can be difficult… don’t go at it alone! Join us for a series of mindfulness focused, art infused group sessions to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with others who, like you, want to connect, grow, and have fun over the summer.
This group is especially designed for teens who:
Experience anxiety, stress, or difficulty regulating emotions
Could benefit from improved self-esteem and confidence
Need support in developing healthy coping strategies
Enjoy creative expression and are open to personal growth
Participants will gain tools to better navigate emotional challenges, deepen their understanding of themselves, and connect with others in a supportive atmosphere.
Spots are limited to ensure a small group atmosphere and individualized attention. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged for maximum therapeutic benefit.
Benefits of Summer Groups:
Chill & Create is a summer therapeutic group designed to support teens through mindful, creative expression in a safe and nurturing environment. Led by a licensed therapist, this group integrates principles of mindfulness, grounding techniques, and art therapy to help teens manage stress, build emotional resilience, and strengthen self-awareness.
Each session will invite participants to slow down, connect with their inner experiences, and express themselves through a variety of art materials and guided activities. No prior artistic experience is necessary — the focus is on the process, not the product.
We are conveniently available to you right in downtown Mendham at the Movement Space, no going to an office.
Group sessions are non-intimating, fun, and welcoming to all who are looking for connection and growth.
Learn new skills to overcome stress, build self-esteem, and increase your confidence.
Build relationships with other teens/kids who, like you, are interested in personal development.
