A few words from Danielle
“I strive to cultivate a safe and supportive atmosphere for honest sharing. While therapy provides an outlet for emotional processing, it is also a space to develop practical skills for navigating life’s challenges. I view the therapeutic process as collaborative, and my approach is highly individualized and tailored to each client’s presenting concerns and goals. A strengths-based perspective underpins my practice, as I believe it is essential for clients to leave therapy feeling empowered. Every child is special and unique. It is my job to draw out, broaden and build each child’s strengths to encourage them to encounter the world in a positive way.”
What distinguishes my practice is my:
specialized training and experience in anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, high functioning autism, and child behavioral issues,
use of evidence-based therapies such as CBT and PCIT,
experience helping children express themselves through play,
warm, positive, culturally sensitive, strengths-based, solution focused approach,
a passion for empowering children and families.
